How Do I Create a Campaign?

From your website listing, choose the website for which you’d like to create a campaign. Beside the appropriate website, click the link labeled “Campaigns”. This will bring you to the website’s Campaign list. From the Campaign list, click the link labeled “New Campaign”, located near the upper right corner.

Now, Choose a descriptive name for the campaign (e.g. “Homepage Sidebar”). Enter this name into the field labeled “Campaign Name”. This name will help identify the campaign later, so make sure it’s specific and descriptive.

Then, in the field labeled “Campaign Description”, enter a short description of the campaign. In the fields labeled “Content Dimensions”, enter the width and height of your content respectively. Keep in mind that all content used in a given campaign should be produced at exactly this size, to prevent display problems. But note that you will be able to edit this information in the future.

Choose a piece of “Default” content from the website’s content library, located in the right sidebar. This fallback content will be displayed should all of your campaign’s rules fail to match. Drag and drop the chosen content from the library into the box labeled “1”. In the field labeled “Link”, enter a link for this default content to click through to.

You may enter up to five pieces of default content and five click through links for each campaign. If you choose multiple pieces of content, they will be displayed to users randomly in the event that all rules fail to match. To finish, click the button labeled “Create Campaign”.
