The Smart Content team has just returned from a whirlwind week in Indianapolis for ExactTargets annual conference, Connections 2012. The theme of this years conference was Inspire the Future, and there certainly was not a lack of inspiring people, stories and companies to learn from at this years event.
Connections was particularly exciting for our team this year because Get Smart Content officially announced our partnership with ExactTarget! Weve teamed up with ExactTargets Social Team to deliver dynamic targeting and A/B testing capabilities to ExactTargets SocialPages customers.
ExactTarget SocialPages already provides the tools needed to easily create and manage branded Facebook tabs, said Jim Eustace, founder and CEO of Get Smart Content. Our partnership with ExactTarget enhances that capability by providing customers a means to target and optimize their content to increase customer engagement and return on their marketing investment.
To promote this new partnership, Get Smart Content had the opportunity to host a social luncheon with the ExactTarget Social Team. This one-on-one conversation with clients proved incredibly valuable in providing our team with direct feedback on the current state of social along with the opportunity for our team to supply cross-channel optimization and personalization strategy.
Get Smart Content extends SocialPages in a way that makes the social aspect of cross-channel marketing even more targeted, said Margaret Francis, ExactTargets vice president of social products. Were excited to launch this integration because we see Get Smart Contents capabilities as a natural fit for ExactTarget customers.
We also had the opportunity to host a rockin social media themed party during ExactTargets Hub Crawl on Tuesday night complete with specialty cocktails, blue swag, an array of hors d’oeuvres, an extensive open bar, free giveaways (including an iPad!), and, of course, the chance to make new connections and socialize!
